Sponsored Posts Can Destroy Your Blog's Google PageRank By Mikey 777 Here's a quick bit of info. for all you bloggers out there. You need to be aware that your Google PageRank will be penalized for posting sponsored content on your blog. Using programs like PayPerPost can, and eventually will knock your Google PR down to zero. Apparently, when Google crawls each site/blog, it looks for snippets of code from these companies, and penalizes them just for having that code installed. I've known many bloggers with a PR5 or better who have had their PR hit zero in less than a week because of using programs like PayPerPost. These programs can be profitable, so if you don't care much about PageRank or search engine placement, go ahead and use them. As far as I know, most are legit.
